Pastor Rodney Cannon has served as the Lead Pastor of RCC since January 2019. With over 20 years of ministry experience—including roles as a music minister, youth pastor, and senior pastor—he leads with vision, passion, and a heart for people. Before coming to RCC, he pastored in Frostproof, FL, where he also served two terms as mayor.

Rodney is passionate about developing strong leaders in the Kingdom of God and building a church that feels like home. He and his wife Lindsey have five children—Charlotte, Ceaton, Caroline, Cadia, and Cera—and love doing life together as a family.

​

In his free time, Pastor Rodney enjoys baseball and visiting new stadiums across the country. A lifelong learner, he’s a history buff and is currently completing his Master of Arts in Ministry Leadership. He has been a licensed minister with the Church of God (Cleveland, TN) since 2003 and an Ordained Bishop since 2012.

Daryll Ezell has faithfully served Ridge Community Church as Treasurer since March 2019 and as Music Director since February 2021. He retired after 41 years with State Farm’s Planning & Analysis Department and brings a strong background in both finance and worship ministry.

​

Over the past several decades, Daryll has led music at churches across Central Florida, including Village Church of God, FaithWorld Orlando, Without Walls Central, and Bridge of Hope.

​

He’s a proud godfather to Isaac & Yahaira Vargas and Conrad & Reynicka McDougal, and a loving grandfather to Ja’asiel, Aliyah, Gabe, and Mason.

Daryll is passionate about Florida Gators sports, the Miami Dolphins, Hammond organs, and collecting music. His favorite Scripture is Philippians 1:6, 
"He who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus."

 

 

Darryl and Michelle serve as children’s directors at RCC. They have five adult children and eight grandchildren. Darryl has more than 40 years of ministry experience, with Michelle joining him in 1998. They began attending RCC in October of 2002, joined the ministry team in November of 2002, and continued to serve as children’s pastor/director for another 16 years until retirement in 2018.

 

In April of 2022, God’s plan for them directed them out of retirement when they re-entered into children’s director roles for RCC.

 

Both Darryl and Michelle are very passionate about family and spend as much time with grandchildren as they can.

Blayne and Alexzandria joined the RCCOG family as our Youth Pastors in October of 2023. Blayne is an Ordained Minister in the Church of God (Cleaveland, TN.). Together, they share over 10+ years of ministry experience leading kids, youth, media, and worship.

 

When Blayne and Alex aren't serving the church.... You will probably find them at a local theme park, taking pictures, and spending time with their pets. Alex will be crocheting while watching Golden Girls, and Blayne will be playing video games.
