Dear Ridge Parents,
The health and well-being of our children, families, is on the top of our list of priorities! We want to share with you the precautions we are exercising. We will consistently and diligently follow general preventative measures like these, and we encourage you and your families to do the same:
-Cover your cough or sneeze with a tissue or sleeve; practice these steps with your child.
-Wash your hands and your children’s hands regularly.
-Avoid touching your face and gently remind children to do the same.
-Avoid close contact with people who are sick.
-Stay home — and keep your child at home — if symptoms are present.
-If your child has other symptoms like green/yellow nasal discharge, vomiting, diarrhea, and headache/earache/stomach pain. We ask that in order to limit the prevention of all communicable diseases, we need your cooperation. It is imperative that children and staff exhibiting any symptoms of illness stay home.
Children’s temperature will be taken at check-in. If a child is scanned with a fever 100 degrees or higher they must be excluded from kids' church activities. And for the safety of those in our program; we ask if anyone in your family is found to have a fever that your other children will not be in attendance until your home is fever-free. Without the aid of fever-reducing medication for 72 hours.
We immensely value the privilege of ministering and caring for your children week after week. We are grateful to all of our families for the trust and confidence placed in us. The precautions above ensure that every measure is taken to provide a safe, healthy, high-quality church environment. Every leader will be required to wear a mask and will be screened as well. From all of us, thank you for your understanding, and for the shared efforts to protect all of our children.
