September 21, 2025. What is the difference between a test and a temptation? One leads to growth and the other leads to destruction. In the final week of our Lessons from the Wilderness series, Pastor Rodney shows us how Satan tempted Jesus three times, but each time, Jesus used Scripture to connect back tot he Israelites time in the wilderness. Jesus was tempted, but did not sin.

September 14, 2025. John the Baptist is the prophet described by Isaiah as the voice crying in the wilderness. Out in the wilderness, he came preaching a gospel of repentance, preparing the way for the Messiah. Our world is filled with evil, and the only hope is Jesus. In the words of John, "Repent and be baptized!

But immediately following his greatest season of ministry, he went into a deep depression and wanted God to take his life. But instead, God led Elijah deeper into the wilderness to reveal Himself not in the fire, not in the earthquake, or in the mighty wind, but in the quiet whisper.
