The Table W6 // Rodney Cannon // Ridge Community Church
November 23, 2025. In the final week of our Table series, Pastor Rodney takes us through the book of Luke to revisit some familiar stories as well as some new ones. We are only 4 days away from Thanksgiving. At Christ’s table there are no divisions, no kids’ table and adults’ table—just an open seat for anyone willing to come. As we remember His sacrifice and share Communion, we give thanks for the love that led Him to the cross and opened the way for us to join Him at His table.

The Table W5 // Pastor Rodney Cannon // Ridge Community Church
November 16, 2025. Part 5 of The Table series. In Luke 24, two disciples unknowingly encounter the risen Jesus on the road to Emmaus. In this week's message, we explore how Christ uses Scripture, suffering, and even ordinary moments—like a simple meal—to open our eyes to who He is. If you're walking through confusion or pain, be reminded that Jesus walks with you and reveals Himself right in the middle of your suffering.

The Table W4
November 9, 2025. In week 4 of our series The Table, we explore one of Jesus’ most powerful parables about grace, humility, and God’s invitation to eternal life. In Luke 14, Jesus is invited to dine at the home of the ruler of the Pharisees — not to be honored, but to be trapped. Yet even in the midst of hypocrisy, He heals a suffering man, exposes pride, and reveals the heart of God’s Kingdom. Through the Parable of the Banquet, Jesus shows that God’s invitation to His heavenly feast is open to all — but many miss it because they’re too distracted by their own priorities. The humble, the poor, and the broken are welcomed to the table, not because they deserve it, but because of grace. Will you accept the invitation, or make excuses to stay away? There’s still room at the table.

The Table W3 // Pastor Rodney Cannon // Ridge Community Church
November 2, 2025. In week 3 of "The Table," Pastor Rodney takes us to Luke 7:36–50, where Jesus dines at the home of Simon the Pharisee. During that meal, an uninvited woman, known for her sin, enters the room. While Simon fails to offer even the most basic hospitality, this woman kneels at Jesus’ feet, washes them with her tears, and anoints them with costly perfume. Her actions reveal a powerful truth: those who know how much they’ve been forgiven, love much. 📸 Don’t forget to send your “table pictures” to r.cannon@rccog.org or tag @rccog on social media!

The Table W2 // Pastor Rodney Cannon // Ridge Community Church
October 26, 2025. Last week, Pastor Rodney challenged us to invite someone to the table — a reminder that community is at the heart of following Jesus. This week, we dive deeper into what happens when we share the table the way Jesus did. From the prodigal son, to the woman at the well, to Matthew the tax collector, Jesus keeps inviting people to come to the table no matter their past. There, we find healing, hope, and community. Pull up a seat. There’s room for you at The Table.

The Table W1 // Pastor Rodney Cannon // Ridge Community Church
From the Garden of Eden to the Marriage Supper of the Lamb, the Bible tells the story of God’s table — a place of provision, fellowship, and grace. In today's message, we explore how Jesus used the table to break barriers, build relationships, and extend His invitation to all. In Acts 10, God uses a vision given to Peter and a Gentile named Cornelius to show that His invitation is for everyone, not just a chosen few.

Oil Change // Rodney Cannon // Ridge Community Church
October 12, 2025. In this message from Matthew 25, Pastor Rodney unpacks the Parable of the Ten Virgins and calls the Church to wake up and prepare for the return of Christ. Many believers today are spiritually asleep; holding the lamp of God’s Word but running low on the oil of the Holy Spirit. We need fresh oil, renewed anointing, passion, and holiness to stay ready for the Bridegroom’s arrival. Don’t get caught unprepared when Jesus returns. Watch, stay alert, and keep your oil fresh!
