Bio on Alan Tackitt

Alan joined the staff of Ridge Community Church in April of 2003 as the
Student Ministries Pastor

Alan is a transplant from Pennsylvania. He has lived in Florida for 29 years and calls it home, although makes pilgrimages north most Novembers.

He and His wife Rebecca have been married for 15 years and have two children, Joshua and Kaitlin.

Alan has been involved in church ministry since his early college days. He's also been a part of jail outreach programs, worship and youth bands and foreign missions. Student ministry has been Alan's central focus for the past 10 years. He has been Youth Pastor at the Church of the Nazarene in Lake Wales, New life Ministries International in Winter Haven, and now here at Ridge Community Church in Dundee.

Since coming to our church, Alan has strived to take our students from the youth group mentality to an overall Student Ministries mentality, allowing students to minister to one another.
